The Lace Mistress
Shui Kuen has allowed me to put up some pictures of her incredible lace work. Folks this is like getting to clean Michaelangelo's brushes :-) It is very picture loaded so get a cup of tea and prepare for some ohhhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhhh and drooling
The lady herself wearing her contest winning Garden Path Shawl
a close up of the edging
The beautiful Birdseye shawl modeled by a friend. I lighten the color a bit so you could see the pattern. It is a deep rich eggplant
The popular Kiri also modeled by a friend
She is so ingenious! I have the GP shawl ready to cast on, in purple alpaca of course. SK's patterns are perfectly written. No guesswork required. I hope she produces a pattern for the entrelac lace shawl soon!
Thanks, Suzann.
Thank you, SK and Suzann! I love seeing SK wearing her shawl. I can honestly say that pictures cannot adquately show her exquisite knitting. :-}
Oh. My. Goodness. What an absolute treat to see more of Sk's beautiful work. The Bird's Eye is exquistite.
Wow! I'm so overwhelmed I can't spell :).
Thank you so much, Suzann, for posting Shui's pictures. Can you believe it? Such work! The entrelac lace shawl is dreamy, but really, all of them are stunning.
What a treat to see all these pictures. Especially nice to see SK herself modeling.

Beautiful. Thank you for posting the lace pictures.
You said "you can breathe now" and I realized I was holding my breath.
Thanks, Suzann, a real treat.
Yes, indeed, those are some stunning lace shawls! I especially like the lace entrelac. Genius!
